One week ago, the @bostonslammers became the first all-girls travel baseball team to make the quarterfinals of the prestigious Mayor’s Cup in the tournament’s 10-year history. Each summer, local 12U All-Star teams throughout Boston compete against each other in pursuit of the title. After going undefeated last weekend, the Slammers have been ranked fourth out of 17 and will now play South Boston to get one step closer to the championship game.

Since most of the 11u girls are matriculating up to the 13u division, and since we’ve received so many inquiries, we are creating a new 11u team and adding on a new 17u team!
John Choe is our new 11u Slammers Coach! Many of you know him from his many years of coaching Regan Youth League and his daughter Ginny is excited to be on the Slammers.
Nelson Laboy is our new 18u Slammers Coach! Nelson has played and coached baseball, and recently has been coaching girls softball. You might remember him from our practices at the Tobin. He is also Coach Miguel’s brother.
We are proud to add such talented coaches to our growing family!
